Rules for joining the Central Garrison boards
« on: February 19, 2006, 12:48:49 AM »
Welcome to the Central Garrison Forums!

Before you begin there are a few rules we must go over.  Don't worry, they're pretty simple.

Rule #1
All registered users must include your real first and last name (ie. John Smith).  Any registration that does not include a first and last name or a false name in the signature field will not be approved.

Rule #2
Your signature must remain in your profile for the life of your account.  Any member deleting their name from their signature may find their account de-activated.  The members of the Central Garrison believe that if you are willing to say something on our forums then you should be willing to attach your name to it.

Rule #3
Please make every effort to keep your posts on-topic and positive.  Any posts that are made that do not add to the thread, or are unneccesarily negative (ie. flaming) will be moved or deleted without warning.

Now for some administrative notes to members of the 501st Legion, Central Garrison, and Rebel Legion

CENTRAL GARRISON MEMBERS

If you are an active member of the Central Garrison your username must be your TK-ID (ie. TB750) in order to get full access to the forums.  This includes access to election discussion threads and merchandise areas.  If you do not register as your TK-ID you will have restricted access.

501st LEGION MEMBERS

If you are a member of the 501st Legion you will be given access to areas of the forums that non-501st members have access to.  However, to gain access to these areas you must put your TK-ID and/or garrison affiliation in the signature area of your profile.

REBEL LEGION MEMBERS

If you are a member of the Rebel Legion you will have access to areas of the forums that the general public will not (ie. Joint Ops planning threads, etc...).  However, we request that you identify yourself as Rebel Legion in your signature so that we can verify your status.

NON-MEMBER FRIENDS OF THE CENTRAL GARRISON

If you are a friend of the Central Garrison we welcome you to our forums.  We are here to assist you in any way we can.

We thank you all for your interest and support of the Central Garrison and hope you enjoy our forums.

I'd like to point all registered users attention to this rule.  The administrative team does not have the resources to go in and manually add names to back into signatures.

**NEW UPDATE**

I didn't expect this to be an issue, but it's occurred twice already.  TK ID's (ie. TB750, TK9675, etc...) or variations of TK ID's are restricted to 501st members.  Non-501st members should not register using a TK ID as this registration is reserved for the legion member who actually holds that ID.  This is to avoid confusion amongst the members of the legion who frequent these boards.

Every registration that includes a TK ID is cross-referenced with the legion database to verify its authenticity.  This is standard procedure to ensure that appropriate access is given to legion members.  This is also the procedure for Rebel Legion members.  If you are not a member of the 501st and/or Rebel Legion and you register with a TK ID or state that you are a member of either organization and are not your account will be deleted and you will have to re-register with an appropriate screen name.
